Product Development Engineer
A leading team member in the product development process, anywhere from concept to the final product.
Manage and assist in the development of concepts, prototypes, and project plans from concept to product release.
Assist in designs and proposals of products, including the incorporation and determination of materials and machines.
Involved in research, development, and process implementation.
Perform product functionality testing and risk evaluation for products in the development stage.
Work directly with management, customers, sales representatives, vendors, and production staff to ensure successful new product releases.
Mentor staff on technical development and project management. Oversee the execution of projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Professional Engineering License preferred
Two years of mechanical engineering experience required.
SolidWorks 3D CAD proficiency.
Experience in bringing products from concept to market.
Ability to lead in a professional manner.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
